Couples’ Ministry
Our vibrant couple’s ministry promotes God’s plan for marriage in order to build and strengthen marriages. In addition, we provide opportunities for married couples to meet and build relationships with each other. The couples meet bi‐monthly and engage in activities such as discussions, small groups, outings, date night, retreat and mentoring.
Singles Ministry
The purpose of the singles ministry is to provide opportunities for singles to connect to God and with each other to form lasting relationships. The ministry strives to meet the needs of all singles whether widowed, unmarried, divorced and those dating. The singles meet monthly and engage in activities such as relevant discussions, guest speakers to address appropriate issues, social activities and outings.
CLES (Christian Life Enrichment Seminars)
At the West Toronto Church of God, we believe that disciple making is an essential component of the Christian faith. The purpose of the Christian Life Enrichment Seminars (CLES) is to assist all believers to strive toward spiritual maturity. These seminars are short term topical classes designed to equip and empower believers to grow deeper in God’s word. Examples of topics are: how to read and study the bible, financial management, digital evangelism and intercessory prayer.
Prayer Ministry
The focus of the prayer ministry is to encourage and facilitate prayer within the local church through intercessory prayer, corporate prayer, zone prayer meetings, prayer partnerships, prayer chains, all night prayer, in home prayer meetings, 21 days of prayer and fasting and 40 days of praying with and for our Pastor.
Prison Ministry
Our prison ministry brings hope, love and restoration to men, women and youth who are incarcerated by sharing the gospel, praying and supporting them.
“Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” (Hebrews 13:3)
Sunday School Ministry
Sunday school is geared towards children up to the age of 12. The purpose of Sunday school is to teach the word of God in creative ways to help children learn, love, worship and serve God. Sunday school is separated by age so that the lessons can be taught appropriately. The classes are taught in an interactive forum where students are invited to share and ask questions.
Golden Eagles Senior Adult Ministry
The seniors are a very important part of the church and community, and we take pride in ensuring our seniors are served, loved and ministered to. The seniors meet monthly and the meetings include guest speakers addressing relevant topics, day trips, food and fellowship, health care, home service needs and spiritual care.
